O livro “The world according to physics”, de Jim Al-Khalili, é um livro de ciência popular baseado em física. Fala dos pilares da física moderna: relatividade, física quântica e termodinâmica.
Em especial, este livro tem um capítulo inteiro sobre computação quântica. Ele diz que queria escrever sobre uma aplicação futura possível da física, e escolheu este tema.
É um tom bem otimista, dizendo que está acontecendo uma corrida para o desenvolvimento de hardware e software, e certamente trará resultados positivos.
Embora não tenha nada de muito novo, achei curioso e motivador.
